She’s the only MMA fighter to ever become a Grand Slam Champion, holding world titles across four major MMA promotions. Her résumé is straight up intimidating. Of her 26 fights, she’s won 23 times—18 of them straight up knockouts. An undeniable powerhouse and force to be reckoned with.
With her strength, quickness, and skills in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Cyborg is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time.
Character Archetype: The Caregiver
The Caregiver
You want me to blow your mind? Cris Cyborg, a devastating fighter who has knocked out 18 of her opponents and won too many MMA titles to list… This woman whose body looks like a Marvel superhero suit…
When she’s not in the ring, she’s the opposite of a cold-blooded killer. Cyborg is a do-gooder with a heart of gold. I know, I know. It’s hard to believe. But this woman spends her free time volunteering and working with a non-profit called Fight For The Forgotten, which digs wells to provide drinking water to Ugandan Pygmys in Africa.
And when she felt that MMA fans misunderstood or didn’t know her, she learned English so she could better connect with them and spread a positive message. How charming is that?
Cyborg wants to set a good example for the world and to spread a positive message. And in the two times she’s ever lost, she made a point of losing gracefully to set a good example.
You were out here wondering if Cyborg was a villain. But looks can be deceiving, my friend. And the conventional standard of feminine beauty doesn’t make you a nurturing person. It’s about what’s in your heart.
